3 . 6 . 4 In those instances where a Contractor purchases materials from a <br /> Subcontractor and/or materials made for use in construction work for the Owner <br /> and pays sales or use tax on such materials , he shall report monthly the amount of <br /> sales tax paid by the firm names and amounts and enter on the sales tax form . <br /> 3 . 6 . 5 Sales or use tax paid on purchase or rental of tools and equipment used by <br /> any prime contractor and/or Subcontractor shall be included in the Contract Sum <br /> and will not be reimbursable . <br /> 3 . 6 . 6 Sales or use tax on materials furnished under change orders will be <br /> reported by the same methods as outlined above for material furnished under the <br /> original contract . Therefore, sales or use tax, except of the type described in <br /> Subparagraph 3 . 6 . 5 , shall not appear in the cost breakdown of change orders . <br /> E . Paragraph 3 . 10 " CONTRACTOR' S CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES " <br /> 1 . Add to Subparagraph 3 . 10 . 1 the following . <br /> "Within seven days after award of the Contract the Contractor shall submit to the <br /> Architect and Owner a chart showing the estimated progress for the component <br /> divisions of the Work, together with a composite curve showing the estimated <br /> progress for the entire Work under this Contract . " <br /> 3 . 10 . 1 . 1 The chart will indicate the percent of the total construction cost for each <br /> item listed and list further breakdown of items shown specification section) to <br /> provide a separate item for each Work unit . <br /> 3 . 10 . 1 . 2 The Schedule of Values required by Subparagraph 9 . 2 . 1 is to be plotted <br /> against the project time of the project to show "Anticipated Monthly Values " and <br /> "Accumulated Scheduled Progress " . Such consolidation shall not amend the <br /> requirements of 9 . 2 . 1 . <br /> 3 . 10 . 1 . 3 This chart must be approved by the Architect and Owner, but only for <br /> the limited purpose of determining that the time limits per the Contract <br /> Documents have not been exceeded, that the major components of the Work have <br /> been included and that the chart complies with items 1 and 2 above . Such limited <br /> approval in no way constitutes an acceptance of any variation of the schedules <br /> required in the Contract Documents . <br /> 3 . 10 . 1 . 4 The chart shall be updated at least on a monthly basis to accurately <br /> assess the progress of the Work . The Contractor shall submit a narrative report <br /> to include, but not be limited to , a description of problem areas , current or <br /> anticipated delaying factors and their impact, and an explanation of corrective <br /> action taken or proposed . <br /> F . Paragraph 3 . 11 "DOCUMENTS AND SAMPLES AT THE SITE " <br /> Insert at the end of Subparagraph 3 . 11 . 1 the following : <br /> 3 . 11 . 1 . 1 As the Work proceeds , the Contractor shall keep a careful record of <br /> mechanical , electrical , underground and other concealed Work whose final <br /> in-place locations vary from those shown on the Contract Drawings , whether <br /> because of Change Orders or actual job conditions . <br /> SGC - 5 <br />
