Prebid Minutes Government Services Annex District Attorney Office September 21 , 2010 Page 3 Section 010100 — Summary of Work A summary of all work items is noted in this section . Bidders were advised that the facility will be occupied during construction and that all necessary safety precautions are to be taken. Brief Summary of Work as follows : • Removal and disposal of existing shingle roof systems . • Preparation of existing substrate to receive new shingle roofing . • Installation of underlayment over prepared substrate . • Installation of eave and ice dam protection . • Installation of glass fiber base granular surfaced , dimensional , asphalt shingles . • Installation of static and ridge ventilation . 0 Installation of sheet metal flashing and trim to include but not necessarily limited to edge flashing, valley , gutter, downspout , step flashing, and counterflashing . Pre job damage survey of facility and site required prior to beginning construction. Section 012000 — Price and Payment Procedures No comment. Section 012200 — Project Meetings No Comment Section 013216 — Construction Schedule Work may be performed throughout the week and weekends . Work may begin no earlier than 7000 a. m . Monday through Friday . Weekend work must be scheduled a minimum of 72 hours in advance . Work is to be performed on the District Attorney Office initially then proceed to the Government Services Annex. Work may be limited during voting period of October 12 at the Government Services Annex. Section 013300 — Submittals No Comment . Section 014000 — Quality Control 5thWall will be on site periodically throughout the duration of the project . Section 015000 — Temporary Facilities and Controls The Owner will furnish electricity and water required for construction . Access to electricity and water will be as designated by the Owner . All wiring needed to facilitate construction is to be temporary in nature and furnished and installed at no cost to the Owner . Upon completion of the work the wiring is to be removed and service restored to its original condition . A telephone is to be provided by the contractor at all times . Sanitary facilities are to be provided and maintained by the contractor .
