ADDENDUM No . 1 MINUTES PREBID MEETING GOVERNMENT SERVICES ANNEX DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE REMEDIAL ROOFING 5thWall Job No . 09-26 September 21 , 2010 These minutes (referred to as Addendum No. 1) are to be considered to be a part of the contract documents and will be included as a part of any contract awarded . Changes from the specifications or drawings are in bold print . I. INTRODUCTIONS The meeting was called to order at 2 : 00 p . m . A list of attendees is included with these minutes . II. NOTICE TO BIDDERS A . Bids are due September 30 , 2010 at 3 : 00 p . m . Bids are to be delivered to David Cannell , Purchasing Agent, CLGPO Department of Asset Management and Purchasing Services 131 W Margaret Lane PO Box 8181 Hillsborough, NC 27278 Be Contractors are to be appropriately licensed . License numbers must be affixed to the outside of the envelope containing the bid . C . Due to prequalification requirements , attendees at the PreBid Meeting are the only contractors from which bids will be accepted . D . Questions regarding preparation of bids in accordance with Orange County guidelines and procedures can be directed to David Cannell at 919/245 -2651 or via email at dcannell@co . orange . nc . us . III. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS A . Bids are to be submitted on the form enclosed in the specification booklet . Bidders were advised that several line items and unit costs are listed and that costs are to be provided for all items . All blanks are to be filled in. Be Bid Bond required . Co Performance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds required . D . Bidders advised to acknowledge all addenda on the Proposal Form . Failure to do so will not alleviate the contractor of responsibility for the items referenced in the addenda . E . Examination of Conditions - Bidders were advised to visit the site and thoroughly familiarize themselves with all project conditions . Additional site visits can be arranged by notifying Wayne Fenton at 919/201 - 6745 .
