Sheet metal shall be covered in the roofing warranty . <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2 . 01 Sheet Metal Materials <br /> A . Pre - finished Metal : Shall be 24 gauge (22 gauge where indicated on the drawings) <br /> galvanized steel conforming to ASTM A653 /A653M ; shall be pre -finished with Kynar <br /> 500 Fluorocarbon coating with a top side total dry film thickness of 1 . 25 mils ; bottom <br /> side shall be coated with a primer with a dry film thickness of 0 . 25 mil . Finish shall <br /> conform to all tests for adhesion , flexibility, fading, chalking, peel resistance and <br /> longevity in accordance with ASTM D2244 and ASTM D659 . Color shall be as selected <br /> from manufacturers standard colors . <br /> Be Pre-finished Metal for Gutters and Downspouts : Shall be 3003 -H14 aluminum meeting <br /> the requirements of ASTM B209 . Thickness shall be . 040 for gutters , . 032 for <br /> downspouts . Aluminum shall be pre - finished both sides with Kynar 500 Fluorocarbon <br /> coating with a total dry film thickness of 1 . 25 mils . Finish shall conform to all tests for <br /> adhesion, flexibility, fading , chalking, peel resistance and longevity in accordance with <br /> ASTM D 2244 and ASTM D 659 . Color shall be as selected from manufacturer ' s <br /> standard colors . Aluminum shall be supplied by same manufacturer as pre - finished <br /> galvanized metal . <br /> C . Copper : Shall be manufactured per ASTM B 370 , cold rolled temper designation H00 , <br /> weighing not less than 16 ounces per square foot unless otherwise noted ; cleats shall be <br /> 20 ounces per square foot . Copper shall be commercial pure alloy 110 . Copper shall be <br /> supplied in the natural " salmon reddish brown " color as supplied by the mill . Copper <br /> surface shall be free of all water staining and weathering oxides .
