Blythe, ext 2130 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br />Durham 688-7331 <br />Mebane 336-227-2031 <br />PURPOSE: To consider two additions to the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar <br />for year 2001. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. Two additions are recommended and listed below: <br />? To schedule a meeting for March 12, 2001 at 8:00 a.m. at Mama Dip's Kitchen, 408 W. <br />Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the purpose of meeting with the N.C. <br />Legislative delegation to discuss local legislative issues. <br />? To schedule a meeting for April 19, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. in the Southern Human Services <br />Center Boardroom in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the purpose of holding an Assembly <br />of Governments meeting with the Towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Hillsborough. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the County Commissioners amend <br />the Board's regular meeting calendar by adding the above two meetings.
