Acoustical ceiling grid will be removed to give access to <br />frame a new wall in front of the block walls. All ceiling tiles will be disposed of. <br /> <br />FRAMING <br /> <br />x A 3 5/8”, 20 ga metal stud wall will be framed 16” on center in front of the existing 6” <br />block walls. Walls will be framed to the deck above. <br />INSULATION <br />x 2” of closed cell spray foam insulation will be applied to the block walls between the stud <br />framing. <br />DRYWALL <br />x 5/8” Drywall will be hung, taped and finished ready for paint on the new metal stud <br />framing. <br />x Containment wall to be constructed in the general activity room. The wall will be <br />constructed of metal studs with ½” plywood on the outside. <br />ACOUSTICAL CEILINGS <br />x New acoustical ceiling grid will be installed to extend the existing grid to the new stud <br />wall.
