All county schools typically exercise their tornado plans during this activity.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact to Orange County.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board adopt the proclamation
designating the week of February 18-24,2001, as "Be Safe at School, at Work and at Home"
Severe Weather Awareness Week in Orange County, and encourage citizens to learn more
about tornadoes.
