Also includes what method will be utilized to provide accurate reports by material to <br /> the County. <br /> 3.1.6 Current and Past Experience <br /> This section must include a description of Contractor's current and past experience providing <br /> services similar to those that the County seeks. This section must include a list of clients to <br /> whom similar services have been provided within the past three (3) years. The list of clients <br /> must include accurate name, phone number, and email address of contact person. Current <br /> and/ or past clients may be asked by County to provide reference for Proposer. <br /> 3.1.7 Technical Expertise <br /> This section must include a description of Contractor's technical expertise in the processing <br /> and marketing of recyclables. Include in this section an explanation of Contractor's <br /> knowledge and understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations and experience <br /> working with relevant regulatory agencies. <br /> 3.1.8 Transition Plan <br /> Include detailed transition plan from current recycling processor that describes plans and <br /> schedule of events for the provision of services. The transition plan will serve as an <br /> attachment to the approved contract once approved by the County. <br /> 3.1.10 Pricing <br /> This section should contain 2 subsections, as follows: <br /> • Pricing Proposal - See Attachment F. <br /> • Contaminants Proposal- Please include listing of the items that will be classified as <br /> contaminants. <br /> 3.1.11 Financial Capability and Insurance - <br /> This section must include an indication of financial capability for handling services to be <br /> delivered, including Insurance Coverage. Insurance coverage requirements are listed in the <br /> County Contract,Attachment A. <br /> 3.2 PROPOSAL ACCEPTANCE <br /> Any incomplete proposal or proposal deviating from the required format may, at the County's sole <br /> discretion, be eliminated by the County. <br /> 3.3 SELECTION PROCESS <br /> A selection committee shall be established by the County to review responses. The following will be <br /> the screening criteria. Order below is not indicative of priority. <br /> • Understanding of and familiarity with services sought by the County <br /> • Personnel, experience, subcontractors <br /> • Contractor's technical expertise, knowledge, and understanding of applicable laws, rules, <br /> and regulations. <br /> 14 of 21 <br /> RFP No. 5259 <br />
