DocuSign Envelope ID: BF09ME9-7297-41B22-8360-A1 E6C073ECAF <br /> 1.12 OPTIONAL PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE <br /> An OPTIONAL pre-proposal conference is scheduled to be held on March 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at <br /> the Orange County Solid Waste Administration Building located at 1207 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, <br /> North Carolina 27516. Requests for conference calls will not be entertained. <br /> At the conference, representatives of the County will be available to answer and explain the intent of <br /> this RFP. To the extent possible, the County will answer questions and concerns raised at that time. <br /> After the conference, the County will prepare and distribute within one week of the end of question <br /> submittal period, written documentation to answer questions which were addressed at the <br /> conference that relate to the interpretation of, or changes to, the RFP documents that the County <br /> deems appropriate for clarification. <br /> 1.13 PROCUREMENT SCHEDULE <br /> The County plans to adhere to the following procurement schedule to the extent possible. The term of the Agreement between <br /> County and Contractor will be for an initial _two_ (_2_) years, proposed to be on or before <br /> July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021 . At the close of the initial <br /> _two_ (_2) year term the contract may be extended at the option of the County and with the <br /> agreement of Contractor to include up to two (2) additional two (2) year renewal periods provided <br /> that: <br /> • Funds are authorized annually by the Board of Orange County Commissioners, and <br /> • The Contract is not otherwise terminated through provisions of another clause of the Contract. <br /> 1.14.1 Proposal Evaluation and Selection <br /> Proposals will be evaluated and selected according to the criteria set forth in Section 3.3. <br /> The selected firm and the County will negotiate a contract.
