Monica Evans -EDC appointments Page 1:
From: Dianno Reid
To: Monica Evans
Date: 5(13/2005 11:49:40 AM
Subject: EDC appointments
Monica,
Here's an update on our reappointments:
0
Charlie Fisher (recommended by the Chambers) does not wish to be reappointed due to new employment
responsibilities. The Chambers recommend moving Anita Badrock to the Chamber position.
Winkie LaForce and Ruffin Slater would like to be reappointed.
James Walker has not been attending meetings and should not be reappointed; he last attended a
meeting in October..
These changes lead to two at-large vacancies. We would like to suggest the appointments of Lauri Michel
and Mark Crowell to fill those seats.
We are also interested in replacing Eric Tillman, who has attended only three meetings this year. He
came in August and September, missed four in a row, came in February, and has now missed another
three in a row. As a replacement, we suggest James Stroud.
I will send the recommendations in a formal letter if you need it. ,lust let me know.
Dianne
p s. We've contacted Mebane again regarding their appointment. They may recommend the
reappointment of Bernie Bean, who has been off the board for a year.
CC: Yvonne Scarlett
