In 1998 alone, <br />TPL helped pass legislation and ballot measures providing more than <br />$3 billion in parks and open space capital funding. <br />VICE PRESIDENT ' <br />Craig T. Lee <br />Craig Lee was a'founder of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation <br />Program, which generated over $250 million in funding foi•.parks <br />and land conservation in the 1990s. In addition, he has helped <br />many communities with.bond and tax measures. Currently Mr. Lee <br />advises state and local govemrt-ents On file creation of purchase•of- <br />development-rights programs. McLeod ~ ~ . <br />A former state conservation official in Rhode Island and California, <br />Andy McLeod has. also worked in the United States Senate and on a <br />variety of political campaigns. Turkington <br />Massachusetts state Representative Eric Turkington led the effort to <br />create the Cape Cod Land Bank, a measure thatwon voter approval <br />in a1115 Cape Cod towns. Mr. Turkington is also the founder and first <br />president of the 300 Committee,.
