<br />Commissioner Dorosin said he needs more information about this amendment. <br />Bonnie Hammersley said it is a part of their ask, but their base was only $20,000 and <br />their addition included some for that position. <br />Commissioner McKee said he wants to be careful to not move away from this process <br />and he has had several agencies contact him requesting additional funding. He said he will not <br />support giving additional funding because the process is data based, and this discussion seems <br />to be moving away from the established process. <br />Commissioner Greene said yes, and no. She said the proposal being made by the <br />Manager, is that this worthy position of housing locator should be managed by the PTEH, which <br />is not an outside agency. <br />Commissioner McKee said the position was grant funded, the funding for which has no <br />ended. He said he does not question the usefulness of the position, but the Board needs to be <br />careful about the blurring the process. He said this seems like a separate conversation. <br />Commissioner Price said she is concerned about what message this may send, and she <br />would feel better if this came up in an overall housing discussion. <br />Commissioner Greene said it would be good for this organization to speak to the Board, <br />and this is the intersection of homelessness and housing. <br />Bonnie Hammersley said she will send out an updated amendment list each week. <br />Commissioner Bedford suggested putting this information out for public consumption. <br />Bonnie Hammersley said copies are available at the Clerk’s office, and this is a <br />living/changing document. She said these decisions will be voted on at the June 11th meeting, <br />and the abstract will contain information. <br />Commissioner Bedford asked if the public can comment at that meeting. <br />Bonnie Hammersley said no, but the public can comment at the June 18th meeting. <br />Commissioner Bedford said it would be more transparent to allow the public to comment <br />prior to the Board voting. <br />Commissioner Price said the public can send emails to the Board. <br /> <br />3.
