To reach out to <br /> large event organizers , the Orange County TDM Coordinator will leverage the existing <br /> relationships that have been established by the Solid Waste Management Department for <br /> waste diversion activities . Given the pre - existing focus of these events on sustainable <br /> waste diversion practices , organizers should be receptive to layering in outreach on travel <br /> alternatives for the events . <br /> ■ Proposed Outputs and Outcome Tracking <br /> • Meet or call all event organizers to connect them with TDM resources to <br /> create transportation options for attendees . <br /> o For any events that use TDM services , their participation will be <br /> tracked through STRNC or through an after- event <br /> communication /survey . <br /> 0 5 . 6 . a Encourage students of driving age to use TDM services , especially during <br /> peak hours . — The Orange County TDM Coordinator will partner with administrators at <br /> Durham Tech ' s Orange County Campus to reach out to student commuters to publicize <br /> new and existing transit and ride -sharing options . <br /> ■ Proposed Outputs and Outcome Tracking <br /> • Meetings with administrators from Durham Tech ' s Orange County <br /> Campus will be held before the end of Q1 to plan annual student <br /> outreach opportunities . <br /> • Work with Central Durham ' s TDM service provider to ensure that both <br /> campuses are involved in all TDM activates plan for the year . <br /> Top Task #2 : Promotion of Ongoing Regional and Local Programming <br /> Description — Promotional activities in this Top Task focus on distributing materials and <br /> messaging related to ongoing regional and local TDM programs that are not the focus of the <br /> quarterly campaigns . This is the distribution of either pre -existing content or content that was <br /> created as part of the marketing work of Top Task #3 . <br /> The OCCO Program will customize existing regional marketing content and promote participation <br /> in these ongoing programs by Orange County staff and Hillsborough employers . Promotional <br /> activities such as distributing materials and answering questions will take place on an ongoing <br /> basis throughout the year , but to ensure that each ongoing program receives focused attention <br /> there will be an informal promotional drive for each ongoing program every other month .
