Not only will the route promote ridership , it will <br /> also deliver information for cold and inclement weather safe riding practices . <br /> Riders of both routes will sign up in advance for the Polar Family experience including a ride <br /> either East to West or South to North with a Polar Walking tour of area while listening to <br /> information regarding OCPT and GoTriangle promoting both transit and walking use . The Polar <br /> Walk will end at the local libraries to hear a special reading of the Polar Express book . The group <br /> will return on transit with promotional commute items ( a Polar Express Package ) including <br /> information regarding STRNC , bus route schedule information and other key information for daily <br /> transit and walking and cycling information . Current riders on the morning bus routes of the F <br /> Route and the 420 Route will be surprised with promotional thank you items encouraging <br /> continued ridership including information regarding regional planning , such as light rail progress <br /> and other ongoing information . <br /> Collaboration - Collaboration and planning will occur with the Orange County Commute Options <br /> Program , Carrboro , UNC - CH and Go Chapel Hill partners as well as , OCPT and Go Triangle , for <br /> planning and promotions of Polar Express events twice in December . Go Chapel Hill will also <br /> collaborate with the Hillsborough /Chapel Hill Chamber of Commerce , Orange County Libraries <br /> and with the County ' s Communication Office for updates to social media as well as through <br /> marketing and communication . <br /> Personal Mobility Technology Preparation : Disruptive personal mobility technologies ( e - <br /> scooters and dockless bike share ) have arrived in the Triangle . To help prepare Orange County <br /> local governments to take best advantage of the benefits of these technologies as a first/ last mile <br /> solution , we will produce a best practice guide for decision makers . <br /> WORKPLAN : DETAILED TASKS & ACTIVITIES <br /> Top Tasks : Include a detailed description of each task below. Include references to the Activities <br /> from the Revised 7- Year Plan (see Attachment A) that each task helps implement.
