Area 3c <br />Designate the following property on the north side of Old NC 10 as <br />Economic Development Activity Node. The property is identified as <br />Hillsborough Township, Tax Map 45, lot 33 containing 12.95 acres <br />more or less. It is currently designated Ten-Year Transition. <br />B. ORANGE COUNTY ZONING TEXT AMENDMENTS <br />1. Economic Development District (1-40 /Old NC 86) Zoning Text <br />Amendments <br />Purpose: To receive public comment regarding the proposed EDD <br />Manual and Table of Permitted Uses Matrix Amendments. <br />2. Model Home Text Amendments <br />Purpose: This amendment would allow the temporary placement of <br />model home sales offices within subdivisions. <br />C. ORANGE COUNTY ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENTS AND SPECIAL USE <br />PERMITS <br />1. 1.40/Old NC 86 EDD Zoning Atlas Amendments <br />Pu ose: To hear public comment on the revisions to the new, proposed <br />Hillsborough Area Economic Development District. Proposed revisions <br />include adding two new areas (Area 1 and 2) to the existing 1-40 / <br />Old NC 86 EDD and amending the existing 1-40 / Old NC 86 EDD <br />(Area A) by revising land uses and process. The zoning atlas <br />amendments are as follows: <br />Area 1: Rezone from R-1 to ED-LO1 properties located between <br />existing 140 / Old NC 86 EDD and along the western side of NC 86 <br />being identified as Hillsborough Township, Tax Map 49, Block B, Lots <br />15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 (part) and Tax Map 50 Lots 6, 7, and 8 <br />containing 97.67 acres more or less. (Zoning Docket 1-2001) <br />Area 2: Rezone from R3 to ED-1_01 properties located along the <br />northeastern section of the 1-40 / Old NC 86 EDD between the Beckett's <br />Ridge Subdivision and the Town of Hillsborough EDD being identified <br />as Hillsborough Township, Tax Map 40, Block A; Lot 22 (part) and Tax <br />Map 45, Lot 2 (part) containing 92.57 acres more or less. (Zoning <br />Docket 2-2001) <br />Area A NW NE and SE Quadrants; Part of SW uadrant : Rezone from <br />ED to ED-LO1 a portion of the existing 1-40 / Old NC 86 Economic <br />Development District located along old NC 86 at the 1-40 interchange <br />being identified as HIIlshnrnllnh Tn%Ainchin Tav Mon AO R1nn1. 12 1 + A
