I attempt to keep abreast of active public health issues in the state <br />through attending state conferences (e.g., Public Health Leaders Conference, NCIOM) and <br />networking to place residents in public and population health rotations as part of their training. <br />Specific areas of expertise are chronic disease prevention and control, in particular diabetes <br />prevention, and clinical-community linkages for population health improvement.
