He said eventually the entire Whitted 35
campus could be served by a well field behind the building, or in one of the parking lots. 36
Commissioner Marcoplos asked if the cost savings are known for these systems. 37
Travis Myren said staff can get those dollar figures for any amendment. 38
Commissioner Marcoplos said it would be interesting to know if the $25,000 per project 39
could be easily recouped in the life cycle of the project. 40
Commissioner Dorosin asked if there is a basis for the “$25,000 per project” figure. 41
Commissioner Marcoplos said there are three studies, totaling $75,000, which leads to 42
$25,000 per project. 43
Commissioner Price said the $25,000 is just for the study. 44
Travis Myren said the Board wants to know what the payback projections would be if the 45
study costs were added to the building costs. 46
Commissioner Dorosin asked if the study is for more than one project. 47
Travis Myren said it was for three projects. 48
Chair Rich said to add this item to the amendment list, and staff can provide more 49
information. 50
