<br /> FFY 2019 Annual Action Plan Orange County HOME Consortium
<br /> 18, 2018.The Orange County HOME Consortium also held two (2) Question and Answer Session
<br /> on applications for HOME funding on Thursday, November 15, 2018 and Tuesday, December 18,
<br /> 2018. Applications for HOME funding were due back to the County by 5:00 PM on Tuesday,
<br /> February 5, 2019. Information was also available on the Orange County Department of Housing
<br /> and Community Development's website.
<br /> The second public hearing was held on Tuesday, May 21,2019 at 7:00 PM at the Southern Human
<br /> Services Center,Board of County Commissioners Board Room,2501 Homestead Road,Chapel Hill,
<br /> NC 27516.The second needs hearing was published on May 8,2019 in "The Durham Herald-Sun,"
<br /> "News of Orange", and the Spanish-Language newspaper, "La Noticia". It was posted on the
<br /> County's website and emails were sent to local municipalities and non-profit
<br /> agencies/organizations. At the public hearing, residents had the opportunity to give their input
<br /> and ideas on the housing,community development,and economic development needs in Orange
<br /> County and how the HOME funds should best be spent to be low- and moderate-income
<br /> persons.
