I have been a member and active with the North Carolina Economic Development
Association for the past 10 years and have developed great friendships with economic
developers, chambers and companies that are active and part of statewide growth initiatives.
Having worked alongside professional advisors in accounting and legal I have had the
opportunity to encourage organizations that I represent to join and be part of Chamber Economic
Development Groups and EDPNC. Being a graduate of Leadership North Carolina I have
traveled the state to learn about health, education, economic development and government to
have a greater perspective on how a community can work together and have been part of many
conversations around rural and urban differences. I received my MBA and understand
incentives and how the c-suite would examine our region.
21
