This plus my experience in <br />investment banking, technology market development and strategic planning have given me a <br />strong background in business analysis. I have worked in companies of many different sizes <br />from large corporations and mid sized companies to small companies and ground floor <br />startups. Having run startups in Orange County, I have a strong understanding of the issues <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I would like to get involved to help small businesses flourish in Orange County. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />Arts Commission <br />Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br />I ran a successful portrait studio for six years in Chapel Hill. I understand what it is like to work <br />in the art world in Orange County. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I am a strong believer in the arts and the importance of the arts in the community and in <br />education. <br />I come from a family of artists (oil painter and sculptor, musicians) and art has been <br />fundamental to how I see the world. <br />It is important to me to see the arts flourish in a world where they often get left behind. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />12
