Blythe, ext 2130 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br />Durham 688-7331 <br />Mebane 336-227-2031 <br />PURPOSE: To consider three changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting <br />calendar for year 2001. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. <br />? A meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Southern Human Services Center meeting room <br />"D" will precede the meeting scheduled for February 20, 2001. The purpose of this <br />meeting will be to meet with the Orange County legislators, the Adult Care Home <br />Community Advisory Committee and the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />to talk about issues in those two areas. <br />? A meeting has been scheduled for March 20 at 5:30 p.m. with the Hillsborough Town <br />Board to talk about joint planning and other items of mutual concern. This meeting will <br />be held in the Government Services Center meeting room and will precede the Board's <br />regular meeting that evening. <br />? A meeting has been scheduled for April 16 at 5:30 in the Government Services Center in <br />Hillsborough for the purpose of meeting jointly with members of the Orange County <br />Health Board. This meeting will precede the Board's regular meeting that evening. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular <br />meeting calendar by adding the above three meetings to their meeting calendar.
