PHASE II <br />Provide external building signs, parking signs, and large indoor and outdoor directories for <br />county facilities. External sign costs will vary greatly. Different sizes will be required and <br />stylistic constraints placed on signs by the Towns of Orange County vary. <br />Estimated production cost: Not yet determined. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding for this initiative is not included in the fiscal year 2000-2001 <br />budget. Should the Board decide to move forward with this project during this current fiscal <br />year, the Commissioners could appropriate monies from their Contingency account. If the <br />Board decides to move forward on the signage project during the upcoming fiscal year, staff <br />can include funding for the initiative in the 2001-02 fiscal year budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board provide direction for <br />proceeding with this goal.
