Benedict, ext. 2592 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br />Durham 688-7331 <br />Mebane (336)227-2031 <br />PURPOSE: Update and identification of key issues on the Preserve Planned Development in <br />preparation for joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough Board of Commissioners on January 31, <br />2001. <br />BACKGROUND: Preserve Planned Development was submitted in June, 2000 as a rezoning and <br />special use permit and is within Orange County's jurisdiction. <br />The BOCC had a brief presentation on this project in October, 2000. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The project has considerable fiscal impact. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board hear the report and offer <br />comment.
