Keys were left in the lock of the door to the room medications were stored, <br />2. A planter was used to prevent a rear exit door from being opened, in order <br />to prevent a resident from eloping or wandering out that door. <br />yes Discuss items from “Areas of Concern” Section as <br />well as any changes observed during the visit <br /> <br />We noted that the residence was incredibly clean, <br />odor free, residents looked like they received <br />great care, and appeared to be happy. We also <br />discussed: <br />1. The door to the medication room was <br />locked, but staff keys were left in the <br />lock. Staff removed the keys once it was <br />brought to their attention. They indicated <br />that they left them in the room as they <br />had to return to document glucose levels <br />just monitored. <br />2. The need to develop other methods of <br />securing the back door that will prevent <br />elopement, but not egress if there is a fire <br /> <br />This Document is PUBLIC RECORD.
