2 <br /> <br /> We have three (3) new members that will be trained on March 11: MaryLou Gelblum, Olivia Fisher <br />and Karen Green-McElveen. <br /> We are excited to have so many new faces to assist with Advocacy for seniors. <br /> M. Zuber asked our newly committee member to please introduce themselves and why they chose <br />to join the committee. <br /> M. Zuber we all bring a different skill set and work well together so please be sure to help your team <br />and the committee. Be Yourself and Use Your Strengths! <br /> ACTION ITEM <br />Approval of March 5, 2019 <br />Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Michael Zuber, Chair <br /> M. Zuber asked if anyone has any suggestions or corrections for the March 5, 2019 meeting minutes. <br /> A. Deaver stated that her correct role is “Aging Transitions Administrator”. <br /> G. Brown stated that she will update the correction in all areas. <br /> W. Lang motioned <br />that the March 5, 2019 <br />Committee minutes <br />be accepted with the <br />correction. <br /> W. Morgan seconded <br />the motion that the <br />March 5, 2019 <br />Committee minutes be <br />accepted with the <br />correction. <br /> The entire committee <br />approved the motion. <br />Triangle J Council of <br />Governments <br />Autumn Cox, Orange County <br />Ombudsman <br /> A. Cox stated that William “Bill” Morgan is official. <br /> We have four (4) new applicants and Joan Rehm has already completed her training which was held at The Stratford. <br />Once her paper work is received she will be approved for visits. <br /> We have three (3) new members to be trained on March 11: MaryLou Gelblum, Olivia Fisher and Karen Green- <br />McElveen. <br /> We are excited to have so many new faces to assist with Advocacy for seniors. <br /> Advocacy Day at NCGA is May 3 and other Aging Agencies will be on the hill too and she will send more information <br />via email... <br /> Facilities Updates <br /> Adorable Senior Living about 3-weeks ago and the residents were happy and the facility was very clean. <br /> Brookdale about 2 weeks ago regarding a complaint trying to discharge a resident: you have to provide a valid reason. <br /> The full committee <br />approved the <br />minutes.
