2 <br /> included in the Manager's 2019-20 Recommended Budget in the Community Relations <br /> Department. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br /> this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENABLE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFIECIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> The CCC will work with community partners to focus on hard-to-reach communities, including <br /> minorities, non-English speaking communities, low-income families, people who living in non- <br /> traditional housing and the refugee populations within the County. An accurate count of these <br /> populations will ensure that all available federal resources will be provided to support these <br /> communities. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the establishment <br /> of an Orange County Complete Count Committee to be chaired by Vice Chair Renee Price as <br /> recommended by Chair Penny Rich. <br />
