2 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION OF RECOGNITION ON <br /> CHAPEL HILL HIGH SCHOOL'S WOMEN'S FENCING TEAM <br /> WINNING THE 2019 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, the Chapel Hill High School's Women's Fencing Team captured the North <br /> Carolina Fencing League's State Fencing Championship; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Doug Guild, the Chapel Hill High School's Women's <br /> Foil Team has won numerous state titles; and <br /> WHEREAS, through their hard work, dedication, teamwork and commitment, the team and <br /> Coach Guild brought honor upon themselves, Chapel Hill High School, the Chapel <br /> Hill/Carrboro City Schools District and Orange County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> expresses its sincere appreciation and respect to the Chapel Hill High School <br /> Fencing Team for their outstanding achievement and their inspiration to youth <br /> across North Carolina through their dedication, teamwork and athletic prowess. <br /> This the 21't day of May 2019. <br /> Penny Rich, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
