1 Green Yoar Fleet SwitCD to LED <br />Now., Be Fuel Efficient <br />AVERAGE In Denver, the Mayor enacted a <br />EMIMOW "Green Fleets Executive Order" to <br /> improve the energy efficiency of the <br />Sports U <br />IS mpg tility Vehicle <br />City's 3,500 vehicles. It requires city <br /> agencies to: <br /> ¦ Retire old and underused vehicles; <br />10 tons (01/year . Purchase fuel efficient vehicles; <br /> ¦ "Downsize": purchase smaller vehicles; <br />(Ompact <br />1i.5 Mpg . Use car-pooling, telecommuting, and <br /> mass transit for employee travel. <br /> Denver's policy has eliminated 47 <br />S.S tons (Ot/year vehicles, and saved over $150,000 in <br /> fuel and vehicle costs.
