Article 5 : Uses <br /> Section 5 . 9 : Standards for Utilities <br /> addition to the information required in Section 2 . 7 , th following shall be <br /> s mitted as part of the application : <br /> ( a) A site plan showing the following : <br /> ( i Location and size of all existing nd proposed structures , <br /> ( ii ) Existing and proposed topo phy at a contour interval of five <br /> eet and <br /> ( iii ) An officially designate loodways and floodplains , or the <br /> prese ce of alluvial s ' s . <br /> ( b ) Plans and elevate s for all roposed structures and descriptions of the <br /> color and nature of I ex rior material . <br /> ( c) A Landscape Plan , at same scale as the site plan , showing existing <br /> and proposed trees lus rubs , ground cover and other landscape <br /> materials . <br /> (2) Standards of Evaluati n <br /> ( a) Adequate pr vision has been made , y means of fencing or otherwise , <br /> for the se rity of the site , including th rovision of a gate at the access <br /> entranc of access roads leading to suc acilities . <br /> ( b ) A mi um lot size shall be adequate for the roposed use . <br /> ( c) A quate provision has been made for the prot tion of adjacent <br /> operty from the dangers of collapse , fire , floodin r other menaces to <br /> public health and safety . <br /> ( d ) The applicant shall submit proof of liability insurance cov ing bodily <br /> injury and property damage demonstrating a minimum cov ge limit of <br /> $ 500 , 000 . 00 per occurrence . <br /> 5oM Electric , Gas and Liquid Fuel Transmission Lines <br /> ( A) Submittal Requirements and Standards of Evaluation for Class B Special Use <br /> Permit <br /> Submittal Requirements <br /> In addition to the information required by Section 2 . 7 , e following shall be <br /> bmitted as part of the application : <br /> ( a) A site plan showing the following : <br /> ( i All existing and proposed ructures within the site of the line , <br /> ( ii ) II existing structure ithin 50 feet of the boundaries of the site , <br /> a <br /> ( iii ) Officia desi ated floodways and floodplains . <br /> ( b) A plan of erosion sediment controls for the site . <br /> ( c) Typical cros ections the installation showing elevation of all <br /> structure nd existing an roposed topography . <br /> ( d ) Plan nd elevations of all prop ed structures and descriptions of the <br /> co r and nature of all exterior mat ' als . <br /> ( e ) Certification by the applicant that it is a blic utility and a statement that <br /> the proposed installation is necessary to a omplish its public utility <br /> function and that public convenience and nec sity will be served by the <br /> proposed installation . <br /> Standards of Evaluation <br /> Orange County, North Carolina — Unified Development Ordinance Page 5 - 108 <br />
