For example , if the <br /> exi ing zoning district allows a residential density 1 unit for 2 acres and the <br /> prop ed use is on a six acre parcel (which coul yield 3 residences ) , the <br /> propos use ( s ) may use three times the wate used by an average single family <br /> residenc or 720 gallons per day , on an an alized basis ) before a <br /> comprehen ' ve groundwater study is requi d .
