Article 5 : Uses <br /> Section 5 . 7 : Standards for Recreational Uses <br /> safe and sus-taiRablc-iti tHc imme4ate ViGiRit i an <br /> ( G ) A aRalysis of whTethor` ett er�IJ in the yininity of the prnpn se are. <br /> expented to he effented by withdrawals merle by the prepeserd use . <br /> 5m-6m 55 . 6 . 14 Sexually Oriented Businesses <br /> ( Submittal Requirements <br /> ( 1 ) In addition to the site plan submittal criteria detailed within ection 2 . 5 of this <br /> Ordinance the applicant shall submit proof a license ha een issued allowing for <br /> the operation of a sexually oriented business in accor ance with Chapter 8 of the <br /> range County Code of Ordinances . <br /> ( B ) Standards o valuation <br /> ( 1 ) Sexually iented business ( es ) shall not b ocated in any building , or portion <br /> thereof , tha <br /> ( a) Within 1 , 0 feet of an exis ' g sexually oriented business . <br /> ( b ) Within 1 , 000 t of a : <br /> ( 1 ) Residentia nd use including any open space established as <br /> part of th re ' ential subdivision approval process , <br /> ( ii ) Chur and/or pla of worship , <br /> ( iii ) S ool ( public , private , specialty) , <br /> ( iv) Public or private library , <br /> ( v State licensed child care facility , <br /> (vi ) Public park or recreational facility . <br /> ( c Measurement shall be made in a straight line , with t regard to the <br /> intervening structures or objects , from the nearest po n of the building <br /> or structure used as the part of the premises where a sex Ily oriented <br /> business is conducted to the nearest portion of a building , st ture , or <br /> open space area of a use listed above . <br /> SECTION 5 . 78 STANDARDS FOR RECREATIONAL <br /> 5 . 7 . 1 Recreational Uses as Accessory Uses <br /> I ( A) Use Standards - Residential Land Uses <br /> ddition to the requirements contained within this Ordinance , recre ' nal uses <br /> deve ed as an accessory use to a residence shall abide by the owing : <br /> ( 1 ) Gen I Standards <br /> ( a) Acc ory recreational uses shall n e open to the public or serve as a <br /> recreatio menity for other lot <br /> ( b ) Amenities , equi ent , a or facilities intended for spectators such as <br /> bleachers or public ress systems shall not be permitted . <br /> ( c) Outdoor spor eld lighting , detailed within Section 6 . 11 , shall be <br /> prohibite <br /> (2) Specific S dards <br /> ( a) Motor Cross and Go - Kart Tracks <br /> ( i ) All tracks and/or paths shall be located a mini of 100 feet <br /> from a property line . <br /> Orange County, North Carolina — Unified Development Ordinance Page 5 -80 <br />
