Article 5 : Uses <br /> Section 5 . 6 : Standards for Commercial Service Uses <br /> 5 . 6 . 10 Short Term Rental Large . Host 2ccupied175 <br /> ( A ) Use Standards <br /> ( 1 ) Shall be served by direct access onto a State maintained road . <br /> ( 2 ) Short Term Rental Large uses shall be considered a commercial land use . As a <br /> result it may not be permitted within all protected or critical Watershed Protection <br /> Overlay Districts as detailed in Section 4 . 2 of this Ordinance . <br /> ( 3 ) Minimum required lot size shall be : 176 <br /> ( a ) Five acres with no on - site eating establishment ; <br /> ( b ) 10 acres with an on - site eatinq establishment served by a private well <br /> and septic system . <br /> ( 4 ) Allowed as more than 1 principal use if location on a bona fide farm . Refer to <br /> Section 6 . 2 . 5 of this Ordinance . <br /> ( B ) Submittal Reguirementsi77 <br /> ( 1 ) In addition to the information required by Section 2 . 5 of this Ordinance , the <br /> following information shall be provided on the site plan : <br /> ( a ) Location , width , and type of all internal vehicular and pedestrian <br /> circulation , and parking requirements . <br /> ( b ) Location and dimensions of all on site signage . <br /> ( c ) Boundaries of the site . <br /> ( d ) Location of well and septic system . <br /> ( 2 ) A Description of the proposed use ( s ) of the site and the buildings thereon , <br /> including the following : <br /> ( a ) Amount of area allocated to each use . <br /> ( b ) Number of full and part time employees . <br /> ( c ) Number of clients and/or occupants expected to use the facility . <br /> ( d ) Proposed hours of operation for non - residential uses of the site and <br /> within buildings thereon . <br /> ( 3 ) Building plans for all existing or proposed structures to include floor plans . <br /> elevations , and sections showing restoration / rehabilitation proposed . <br /> ( 4 ) Landscape plan , at the same scale as the site plan , showing existing or proposed <br /> trees , shrubs , ground cover and other landscape materials . <br /> ( 5 ) Statement from the appropriate public service agencies concerning the method <br /> and adequacy of water supply and wastewater treatment for the proposed uses <br /> including any proposed eatinq establishment . <br /> ( 6 ) Statement from the appropriate public service agencies concerninq the provision <br /> of fire , police and rescue protection to the site and structures . <br /> ( 7 ) The proposed development schedule for the site . <br /> 175 This combines Bed and Breakfast Inn and County Inn into a single land use category that will be processed <br /> through the Class A Special Use Permit process . Requirements for on -site host are also maintained as identified <br /> herein . <br /> 176 Minimum acreage requirements are consistent with existing regulations contained within Section ( s ) 5 . 6 . 6 ( A ) ( 2 ) <br /> ( n ) and 5 . 6 . 7 (A ) ( 2 ) ( n ) . <br /> 17 Submittal requirements are consistent with existing regulations contained within Section ( s ) 5 . 6 . 6 (A ) ( 1 ) and <br /> 5 . 6 . 7 ( A ) ( 1 ) . <br /> Orange County, North Carolina — Unified Development Ordinance Page 5 - 65 <br />
