Article 5 : Uses <br /> Section 5 . 6 : Standards for Commercial Service Uses <br /> I addition to the information required by Section 2 . 7 , the following info r ation <br /> sh II be supplied as part of the application for approval of this use : <br /> ( a) Plans for all kennels , exercise yards , dog runs , pens and r ated <br /> improvements , including signage . <br /> ( b) e plan showing the improvements listed in a) above , ther structures <br /> on he same lot , and structures on adjacent property . <br /> (2) Standards o valuation — <br /> ( a) The site is of adequate size to protect adjacent p perties from adverse <br /> effects of e kennel . <br /> ( b) No part of a building , structure , dog run , p , or exercise yard in which <br /> animals are h sed or exercised shall be cl ser than 150 feet from a <br /> property line , e ept property occupied by he owner/operator of the <br /> kennel . <br /> ( i ) The 150 foo setback establis ed by this section shall not apply if <br /> all portions o he facility, in hich animals are housed , are <br /> wholly enclose within a b Iding . <br /> ( ii ) For Class II Kenn s de v loped within the EDE - 2 zoning district , <br /> this setback shall n ply to dog training activities where each <br /> dog is under the imm diate control of its trainer , owner , or other <br /> responsible individu I . <br /> ( iii ) For Class II Kenn Is dev ped within the EDE - 2 zoning district , <br /> all buildings , str ctures , do runs , pens , or exercise yards in <br /> which animals re housed or xercised shall observe the <br /> principal set cks established ithin Section 3 . 7 of the UDO in <br /> those insta ces where the prop y abuts other EDE - 2 zoned <br /> property d US Highway 70 . <br /> ( c) Any kennel , inc ding primary enclosures or ns , which is not wholly <br /> enclosed with ' a building shall be enclosed b a security fence at least <br /> six feet in h ' ght . <br /> ( d ) The site p n shows parking , access areas and scr ening devices for all <br /> building and animal boarding facilities existing or pr osed for the <br /> prope <br /> ( e ) The ite plan shall be reviewed by the Orange County A ' al Services <br /> De artment , and found in conformance with the Animal Co trol <br /> O dinance . <br /> (f) uilding plans for all kennel facilities shall be reviewed and ap oved by <br /> the Orange County Animal Services Department prior to issuanc of any <br /> building permits . <br /> ( All proposed signage shall comply with dimensional requirements as . et <br /> forth within Section 6 . 12 . <br /> ( h ) A Class 11 Kennel Permit All necessary permits168 shall be obtained <br /> from Orange County Animal Services within the first 30 days of <br /> occupancy . Failure to obtain and maintain a valid Class II Kennel Permit <br /> or other related permits which may be required by the USDA or Wildlife <br /> Resources Commission will result in revocation of the Special Use <br /> Permit . <br /> 168 Language in Bold Red Strikethroueh and Underlined text denotes a modification to address a concern from the <br /> County Attorney .
