16 <br /> 1 Travis Myren resumed the PowerPoint presentation: <br /> 2 <br /> 3 Little River Park Phase 2 - $50,000 (p. 79) (page 48 in PowerPoint) <br /> 4 o Address Disposition of Laws House <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Chair Rich asked if these costs are just those of Orange County. <br /> 7 Travis Myren said this is the full cost, and Durham would reimburse $25,000. <br /> 8 Commissioner Price asked if the Historic Preservation Commission has voted to <br /> 9 deconstruct the building, as there were past discussions about saving the building. <br /> 10 Travis Myren said no vote has been taken yet. He resumed the PowerPoint <br /> 11 presentation: <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Fairview Landfill Assessment - $67,000 (p. 80) <br /> 14 o Study Continuing on Assessment of Former Landfill Sites <br /> 15 o Remediation Scheduled for FY2020-21 and Beyond <br /> 16 o Funded Through North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Commissioner Price asked if there is a timeline for when the park could be extended into <br /> 19 this area. <br /> 20 Travis Myren said he does not know, and it will depend on how much trash is there. He <br /> 21 said the assessment will be able to help staff better determine a timeframe.
