21 <br /> 1 Commissioner Dorosin asked if the state is doing constant reviews of files, or is there an <br /> 2 annualized review in Medicaid. <br /> 3 Lindsey Shewmaker said Medicaid is a different animal. She said there are single <br /> 4 county audits (some cases pulled every year); there are also a large federal review, where a <br /> 5 percentage of state cases are pulled; and a new piece that requires the state to have a QC plan, <br /> 6 which went into effect in January, and the state is pulling a certain number of applications, and a <br /> 7 certain number of reviews (from the review counties) each month.
