Blythe, ext 2130 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br />Durham 688-7331 <br />Mebane 336-227-2031 <br />PURPOSE: To consider two changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar <br />for year 2001. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. The meeting scheduled for January 29, 2001 was for the <br />purpose of receiving the Shaping Orange County's Future report. This report will not be ready <br />by that time. The meeting will be held for a Board of County Commissioners work session. The <br />meeting scheduled for February 6 will be moved to February 7. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular <br />meeting calendar by changing the purpose for the January 29, 2001 meeting to a regular <br />BOCC work session and changing the date for the first regular meeting in February to February <br />7, 2001.
