Rotated <br /> off for the year as per term limit requirements. <br /> Boards/Commissions applied for: <br /> Advisory Board on Aging <br /> Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br /> I have worked in aging services in different capacities for over 30 years (starting as a teenager!). <br /> For over 13 years I ve worked at Carol Woods Retirement Community as well as volunteered <br /> with different public agencies and private non-profit organizations dedicated to older adults and <br /> their caregivers. Both my masters and doctoral degrees are in public health with a concentration <br /> in programs and policies in aging and long term care. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I was honored to serve on the board for over six years, first with Jerry Passmore and then with <br /> Janice Tyler. The staff of the OC Department on Aging is incredibly amazing. They are <br /> innovative, resourceful, proactive and productive, as well as a complete joy to work with. The <br /> other board members have always been thoughtful champions of our older adult community <br /> members. Serving besides them has been incredibly meaningful. As we prepare to embark on <br /> our next Master Aging Plan, I m excited at the possibility of re-joining the board to help with next <br /> steps. <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br />
