2 <br /> <br />the residents had a great Christmas and were upbeat. <br /> The Stratford a resident complaint about not receiving her mail on time, a couple food concerns, <br />one of our Nursing Home members Jackie P. will be the new Activities Director at The Stratford <br />and everyone is excited to have this position filled to ensure senior engagement in a variety of <br />activities. The new Administrator is working out great and she has reviewed a couple items with <br />him. <br /> Family Care Homes: <br /> Charles house in-services have been completed and has arranged for staff in-service training at <br />Livewell. <br /> M. Zubar and A. Cox will send out monthly updates regarding visited facilities. <br />Orange County (OCDOA) <br />(OCDOA) Department of <br />Aging <br />Annie Deaver, Aging <br />Health Administrator <br /> A. Deaver stated thanks for excusing her at the last meeting but there were some staff <br />interviews that needed to be filled. The meeting is on her calendar for 2019. <br /> Social Workers were down one position and we have made an offer and hope all is going well. <br />Position vacant since August 2018. <br /> Connect More at Seymour will be a social inclusionary group and will be Lisa M. will be an <br />introductory group for new comers and those who have been here for a while but do not know <br />about all the wonderful things that happen at the Seymour Center. Plus expand to Passmore <br />Center. <br /> They are revamping Guidelines and Policies. <br /> We are including an Ad in the Senior Times for OCADH Committee members as we need <br />members. <br /> The full committee accepted <br />the report <br />Orange County Adult Day <br />Home Visitation Reports: <br /> <br />Orange County Family <br />Care Home (<6) <br />Visitation Reports: <br /> <br /> <br />M. Zuber and group discussion regarding the disparity for seniors in Orange County. We <br />meet 6 times a year maybe we could meet 4 and have 2 meetings with staff at The <br />Stratford and Crescent Green as we learned at the training that one group met with the <br />CEO of a facility to begin to engage change. Maybe spend more time at facilities that need <br />assistance as there is really nothing to improve at Carolwoods. Invite County <br />Commissioners. The answer will be money. Bring in more volunteers and interns from <br />university and area schools. <br />Some of the administrators are on the defensive if when we go in “ask the Administrator if <br /> S.
