Article 5: Uses 73 <br /> Section 5.5: Standards for Residential Uses <br /> (6) Temporary mobile homes installed in accordance with the Table of Permitted <br /> Uses are exempt from the support system requirements established in <br /> Subsections (4) and (5) above. However, skirting is required and the mobile <br /> home must be connected in conformance with all applicable laws and <br /> regulations. <br /> 5.5.75.5.8 Group Care Facility <br /> (A) Submittal Requirements and Standards of Evaluation for Class B Special Use <br /> Permit <br /> (1) Submittal Requirements— <br /> In addition to the information required by section 2.7, the following information <br /> shall be supplied as part of the application for approval of this use: <br /> (a) A description of the type of persons to be cared for and the nature of the <br /> care to be provided. <br /> (b) If structural alterations to existing structures or new construction is <br /> required, a complete description of the nature and extent of these <br /> alterations or new construction. <br /> (2) Standards of Evaluation— <br /> (a) The proposed use is not within 500 feet of another existing Family Care <br /> Facility or Group Care Facility. <br /> (b) Structural alterations shall be of such a nature as to preserve the <br /> residential character of the building. <br /> (c) If a Sstate license or permit is required to operate such a facility, the <br /> standards necessary to qualify for such a permit have been met. <br /> 5.5.85.5.9 Group Home136 <br /> (A) Submittal Requirements and Standards of Evaluation for Class B Special Use <br /> Permit <br /> (1) Submittal Requirements In addition to the information required by section 2.7, the following information <br /> shall be supplied as part of the application for approval of this use: <br /> (a) A description of the type of persons who will be living within the facility. <br /> (b) If structural alterations to existing structures or new construction is <br /> required, a complete description of the nature and extent of these <br /> alterations or new construction. <br /> (2) Standards of Evaluation <br /> (a) The proposed use is not within 500 feet of another existing Family Care <br /> Facility, Group Home, or Group Care Facility. <br /> (b) Structural alterations shall be of such a nature as to preserve the <br /> residential character of the building. <br /> 5.5.10 Health and Personal Care Facility <br /> (A) Use Standards <br /> (1) Where a State license is required to operate the facility, evidence that the <br /> requirements to qualify for said license have been, or will be, met shall be <br /> 136 A new land use category to address housing of between 6 to 15 individuals who do not require specialized care. <br /> Orange County, North Carolina—Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-55 <br />
