All areas in the <br /> lower section are scheduled to be completed by February 12, 2002. <br /> Item 3 <br /> Public Works contracted with Finnell Fine Coatings of Gamer for completion of this work.. <br /> Finnell Fine Coatings has completed a number of painting projects for Orange County <br /> including previous work at the Jail, all of which has been completed in a professional and <br /> timely manner. <br /> All painting of the cells on the upper level has been completed with the exception of two small <br /> areas in cells 'F' and 'G' that require related exterior brick repair work (see Item 4). <br /> The areas in cells 'F' and 'G' that require repair and repainting are a result of moisture intrusion <br /> from the building exterior related to deteriorated brick mortar. Public Works is contracting with <br /> Charles Latta of Hillsborough for repair and tuckpointing work that is required to prevent this <br /> moisture intrusion. Mr. Latta is scheduled to begin completion of this work during the week of <br /> February 11, 2002. Following completion of the tuckpointing work, Finnell Fine Coatings will <br /> return to complete the required repair and repainting in cells 'F' and 'G'. <br /> Item 4 <br /> As this roof is still under warranty, Public Works contacted Firestone Building Products <br /> Company per warranty provisions. Firestone contacted Baker Roofing of Raleigh, the original <br /> installer, and repairs have-been completed.
