Presentation of Manager's Recommended FY 2019-24 Capital Investment Plan <br /> 38 (CIP) (formerly Item 4-f) <br /> 39 The Board received the Manager's Recommended FY 2019-24 Capital Investment Plan <br /> 40 (CIP). <br /> 41 Bonnie Hammersley said Travis Myren and Paul Laughton took the lead on the CIP <br /> 42 process since she was involved in the outside agency review process and Travis Myren would <br /> 43 give a high level view of the CIP and there is a CIP work session scheduled for April 9" where <br /> 44 staff will go into more depth and detail about the CIP. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 BACKGROUND: <br /> 47 Each year, the County produces a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) that establishes a budget <br /> 48 planning guide related to capital needs for the County as well as Schools. The current CIP <br /> 49 consists of a 5-year plan that is evaluated annually to include year-to-year changes in priorities, <br /> 50 needs, and available resources. Approval of the CIP commits the County to the first year <br />
