5 <br /> C uwW eountq J at& and J'kcwatwn eauna <br /> PO Box 8181, 306-A Revere Road, Hillsborough, NC (919) 245-2510 <br /> March 27, 2019 <br /> Penny Rich, Chair <br /> Board of County Commissioners <br /> PO Box 8181 <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Re: Recommended Appointment and Reappointments <br /> Dear Chair Rich: <br /> The Orange County Parks and Recreation Council (PRC) has discussed its current vacancies, and <br /> recommends that the following applicant be appointed to the Council: <br /> • Timothy Braddy to the Cheeks Township position (position#6) <br /> In addition,the PRC requests that current member John Greeson be reappointed to serve his second full <br /> term on the Council in the Hillsborough Township position (position#2); Haywood Rhodes to be <br /> reappointed to serve his second full term on the Council in the At Large position (position#12); and <br /> Robert Smith to be reappointed to serve his second full term on the Council in the At Large position <br /> (position #5.)All have agreed to serve, have good attendance and fully participate in the meetings. <br /> Regarding the remaining vacant position in Cedar Grove Township, the Council asks that they be allowed <br /> to continue to solicit for this position, as the potential exists to find someone from that township who <br /> could provide needed added diversity on the Council.
