Program Activity Name STEM Nights (4) <br /> Program Goal Our goal is to welcome over 400 children and adults to a <br /> museum or site based STEM Night, 75% of attendees <br /> reporting knowledge of at least one new STEM topic and <br /> 90% of caregivers reporting they are "somewhat, very, or <br /> extremely likely" to access programs at Kidzu CM through <br /> scholarship opportunities. <br /> Performance Measures Program attendance and visitor evaluations measuring <br /> understanding of key STEM learning principles and value of <br /> this programming. <br /> Previous Year Program Results Kidzu ran a STEM Night for children and families from <br /> OCPYC agencies. We welcomed 55 children and 35 adults. <br /> Attendees attested to the value of this programming and, on <br /> average, participants indicated it was "extremely true" that <br /> the program was educationally valuable to both children and <br /> caregivers. <br /> Current Year Estimated Results Kidzu is planning the mobile STEM Night for New Hope <br /> Elementary. It is proposed for February 2018. 150 children <br /> and parents/ caregivers are expected. We estimate over 65% <br /> of participants will report knowledge of one new STEM topic. <br /> Next Year Projected Results We project increasing the number of STEM Nights available <br /> to children and families in Orange County and serving an <br /> additional 250 children and families. We project over 65% of <br /> attendees will report knowledge of one new STEM topic. <br /> 3. Program Activity Name Summer Enrichment Camp <br /> Program Goal 90% of participants report they "learned something new <br /> every day" during camp and report they feel "somewhat, very, <br /> or extremely confident" in applying the information to their <br /> school work. <br /> Performance Measures Program attendance and post camp evaluations measuring <br /> value of summer enrichment at Kidzu <br /> Previous Year Program Results nla Due to a 50% funding award (against request) in 2017/18 <br /> we were unable to include summer camp scholarships in the <br /> program. <br /> Current Year Estimated Results nla <br />
