58 <br /> Annually. <br /> • The Advisory Board works to promote the quarterly review of Small Business <br /> Grant and Agriculture Grant programs. <br /> • One member of the Advisory Board also serves on the monthly review of all <br /> applications considered by the Orange County Small Business Loan <br /> Committee. <br /> Describe this board/commission's activities/accomplishments in carrying <br /> out BOCC goals)/priorities, if applicable. <br /> • Advisory Board members' service to assist the County with the frequent <br /> review of small business loan & grant applications, and agriculture grant <br /> applications, is a valuable service that promotes the growth of Orange <br /> County's local economy. This effort aids the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners' social justice goal in economic development, which is to <br /> "Ensure Economic Self Sufficiency. The creation and preservation of <br /> infrastructure, policies, programs and funding necessary for residents to <br /> provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for themselves and their <br /> dependents." <br /> Describe the collaboration relationship(s) this particular board has with <br /> other advisory boards and commissions? <br /> • N/A <br /> If your board/commission played the role of an Element Lead Advisory <br /> Board involved in the 2030 Comprehensive Plan preparation process, <br /> please indicate your board's activities/accomplishments as they may relate <br /> to the Comprehensive Plan's goals or objectives.
