As a part of building an active culture of <br /> health within our county, the Board aims to have engagement <br /> with and from the community at large. <br /> Create, preserve, and protect a natural environment that includes clean <br /> water, clean air, wildlife, important natural lands, and sustainable energy <br /> for present and future generations <br /> o The BOH created an Ad Hoc Fluoride Committee to fulfill <br /> OWASA's request to conduct a review on drinking water <br /> fluoridation <br /> Ensure a high quality of life and lifelong learning that champions diversity, <br /> education at all levels, libraries, parks, recreation, and animal welfare <br /> o The BOH arranges educational sessions every month during <br /> meetings to learn more about the community at-large, OCHD <br /> programs and services, and other opportunities to learn about <br /> programs across the state. <br />
