TWO <br /> to boomerang <br /> Contract Documents for D E S I G !v <br /> rethink,repurpose,resells <br /> 510 MEADOWLANDS DRIVE REMEDIATION <br /> AND RENOVATION <br /> Date: January 11, 2019 <br /> NOTICE TO BIDDERS: <br /> The addendum serves to clarify, revise, and supersede information in the Drawings and Addenda (if any), <br /> which have previously been issued. <br /> Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the appropriate space on the Bid Form. <br /> Remediation Protocol: <br /> 1. Clarification of computer equipment contents cleaning—The Owner will uninstall and reinstall the <br /> computer equipment.The Owner will remove and reinstall the hard drives. The awarded contractor <br /> will take the computer for cleaning, storage and bring back to the site per the protocol. <br /> 2. Clarification on Paperwork, Paper Products, and the like—General loose paper products do not <br /> need to be cleaned. They can be destroyed. Books, binders, and the like need to be cleaned and <br /> returned to the facility per the protocol. Certificates and pictures are to be cleaned and returned to <br /> the facility per the protocol. Books, binders, certificates, pictures and the like are not to be <br /> destroyed. <br /> The process for handling valuable porous Condition 3 items is covered in the IICRC S520 to be <br /> followed by the remediation contractor.Any porous items in Condition 2 areas (the areas are <br /> outlined in the protocol) can be cleaned, unless the porous nature or surface of the content is such <br /> that prevents proper cleaning (which will be determined by the remediation control). When in <br /> doubt, the awarded contractor needs to consult with the County. <br /> 3. Clarification on Items to be cleaned under Supervision—County representatives will need to be <br /> present for cleaning of the communications equipment.The awarded contractor will be required to <br /> notify the Owner of the cleaning schedule so that they are present. <br /> 4. Clarification on porous items such as particle board, cardboard, books, etc—Refer to item 2 above. <br /> General cardboard and particle board not associated with books, binders, certificates, pictures and <br /> the like can be destroyed. When in doubt,the awarded contractor needs to consult with the <br /> County. <br /> Drawings and Specification: <br /> 1.
