Test Method: AATCC 134. <br /> D. Certification: Submit manufacturer's certificate stating that materials furnished comply with specified requirements. <br /> Include supporting certified laboratory testing data indicating that material meets specified test requirements. <br /> 1.7 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> A. Deliver materials to project site in original factory wrappings and containers, clearly labeled with identification of man- <br /> ufacturer, brand name, quality or grade, fire hazard classification, and lot number. Store materials in original un- <br /> damaged packages and containers, inside wall-ventilated area protected from weather, moisture, soiling, extreme <br /> temperatures, humidity; laid flat, blocked off ground to prevent sagging and warping. Maintain temperature in stor- <br /> age area above 40 degrees Fahrenheit. <br /> B. Comply with instructions and recommendations of manufacturer for special delivery, storage and handling require- <br /> ments. <br /> 1.8 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING <br /> A. Sequence carpet installation with other work to minimize possibility of damage and soiling during remainder of con- <br /> struction period. <br /> 1.9 WARRANTY <br /> A. Special Wear Warranty: Submit a written warranty, executed by the Contractor, Installer, and the Manufacturer, <br /> agreeing to repair or replace carpeting which fails in materials or workmanship within the specified warranty period. <br /> this warranty shall be in addition to and not a limitation of other rights the Owner may have against the Contractor <br /> under the Contract Documents. <br /> B. Warranty period is 15 years after date of Project Acceptance. <br /> C. Warranty must be non-prorated. Lifetime warranty will not be accepted. <br /> D. Chair pads are not required for carpet warranty coverage. <br /> 1.10 MAINTENANCE <br /> A. Maintenance Instructions: Submit manufacturer's printed instructions for maintenance of installed work, including <br /> methods and frequency recommended for maintaining optimum condition under anticipated traffic and use condi- <br /> tions. Include precautions against materials and methods which may be detrimental to finishes and performance. <br /> B. Replacement Materials: After completion of work,deliver not less than 2%of each type, color,and pattern of carpet- <br /> ing, exclusive of material required to properly complete installation. Furnish accessory components as required. <br /> Furnish replacement materials from same production run as materials installed. Package replacement materials <br /> with protective covering, identified with appropriate labels. <br /> 1.11 EXTRA MATERIALS <br /> A. Furnish extra materials described below, before installation begins, from the same manufactured lot packaged for <br /> storage and identified with labels describing contents. Provide tiles equal to 5% of the quantity installed for each <br /> type indicated but not less than 10 square yards. <br /> PART 2-PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MANUFACTURER <br /> A. The following manufacturers and carpet series will be accepted if manufactured in accordance with physical proper- <br /> ties,fire performance characteristics, and construction requirements specified herein. <br /> B.
