Pipe Exposed in Mechanical Equipment Rooms or Finished Spaces: Finish with canvas jacket <br /> sized for finish painting or white PVC jacet. Canvas shall be coated twice with Foster fireproof <br /> lagging to ensure specified flame and smoke spread ratings. <br /> J. Exterior Applications: Provide vapor barrier jacket. Insulate fittings,joints, and valves with <br /> insulation of like material and thickness as adjoining pipe, and finish with glass mesh reinforced <br /> vapor barrier cement. A final finish shall consist of 30 lb. felt jacket sealed with hot asphalt mastic <br /> and wrapped with 0.016 inch aluminum rolled jacket. Cover with aluminum jacket with aluminum <br /> bands 12 inches on center and at each butt joint located on bottom side of horizontal piping. <br /> Fittings shall be covered with two piece factory fabricated "ELL-JACS." <br /> K. All exposed piping surfaces, insulation, supports, etc., shall be painted with two coats of oil base <br /> paint. Color shall be selected by the Owner. <br /> 3.03 SCHEDULE <br /> A. Condensate <br /> 1. Condensate lines shall be insulated with 1.0 inch thick closed cell elastomeric foam insulation. <br /> B. Refrigerant <br /> 1.
