This Contractor shall be responsible for the final electrical and the entire control connections and <br /> wiring to all equipment installed as part of his contract. <br /> B. Contractor shall review the electrical plans, where applicable, to establish points of connection and <br /> the extent of his electrical work to be provided in his contract. <br /> C. Unless otherwise noted, this Contractor shall wire from his equipment to disconnect switches, <br /> junction boxes, or panelboard circuit breakers as provided by the Electrical Contractor or as <br /> required by the existing conditions. <br /> D. All power and control wiring shall be in conduits. Refer to electrical specifications for conduit and <br /> conduit fittings. <br /> E. All electrical work shall be performed by a licensed electrician. <br /> F. All electrical work shall be in accordance with the State Building Code and all its supplements, the <br /> latest edition of the National Electrical Code and the electrical specifications. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCT <br /> 2.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. All motor starters, disconnects, switches, relays, conduits, conductors, etc. that are required for a <br /> complete electrical power and/or control system shall conform to the requirements set forth by <br /> NEC. <br /> B. Refer to the plans for the type, size and electrical characteristics of the starters, disconnects, <br /> switches, relays, conductor and conduits. <br /> C. All conductors and conduits shall be sized as noted on the plans or As required per NEC. <br /> D. All individual motor starters for mechanical equipment (i.e., fans, pumps, etc.) shall be furnished <br /> and installed under Division 23. <br /> E. All relays, actuators, timers, seven-day clocks, alternators, pressure, vacuum, float, flow, <br /> pneumatic-electric, and electric-pneumatic switches, aquastats, freezestats, line and low voltage <br /> thermostats, thermals, remote selector switches, remote push-button stations, emergency <br /> break-glass stations, interlocking, disconnect switches beyond termination point, and other <br /> appurtenances associated with equipment under Division 23 shall be furnished, installed and wired <br /> under Division 23. <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. All motor starters, disconnects, and switches shall be installed on or as close to the equipment they <br /> are serving as possible, or where shown on the plans. <br /> B. Electrical connection to equipment subject to vibration which develops objectionable noises shall <br /> be made from the conduit system with short lengths of flexible "Liquid-Tite" conduit. Connection to <br /> other equipment shall be made with rigid conduit. <br /> C.
