Examine substrates for moisture content and other conditions under which carpeting is to be installed. Notify <br /> contractor in writing of major conditions detrimental to proper completion of the work. Do not proceed until <br /> unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br /> 3.2 PREPARATION <br /> A. Repair minor holes, cracks, depressions, and rough areas using material recommended by carpet or adhesive <br /> manufacturer. <br /> B. Clear away debris and scrape up cementitious deposits from surfaces to receive carpeting; vacuum clean <br /> immediately before installation.
